Jonah does not open with a warm-up game. He writes one prompt on the board: the sentence you owe your team this week. You say it out loud before anyone else talks. If you cannot say it, we stop there. That is the hour.
Adults who sit the 09:00 seat at Talk Bench already speak some English. They freeze when the stand-up starts. The first ten minutes are for that freeze, not for a cartoon ice-breaker. We keep the room small so the sentence is real work, not theatre.
Bring the sentence, not a textbook
Write it on paper before you arrive if you can. Names of files, dates, and the person you will say it to. Jonah will not invent a meeting for you. He will make you say yours until the English sits.
Hebrew is allowed once
If a word will not come, you may say it in Hebrew once, then we put the English on the board and you try again. We do not translate the whole hour. That is a different class, and we do not run it.
We are a course school on HaHashmonaim 88, not a university. If this is the seat you want, book work English or read the method. More notes sit on the desk notes index.
