These house rules apply to anyone who sits a course, books a table, or waits at the desk at Talk Bench, HaHashmonaim 88, Tel Aviv-Yafo. They apply to the classroom and the street-level door. Last reviewed 20 October 2026.
The school
Talk Bench is a private English course school. We are not a university. We do not administer official exams and we do not hold an exam-board licence. We drill exam-style papers when you book that track.
In the room
- A reserved seat is a reserved seat. Do not take a labelled chair.
- Phones stay down unless a teacher asks you to photograph the board.
- Hebrew is welcome at the door. English starts when the hour starts.
- Do not photograph other students’ papers or faces without their say-so.
The door
Street-level access on HaHashmonaim 88. Do not block the glass with scooters. Saturday the school is closed. Friday the desk ends at 13:00.
